Let the games begin
Today is my birthday.
No, this is not a ploy for birthday wishes, I already have a gigantic plate of brownies to celebrate the big day.
But it is a big deal. See, today is my 29th birthday. Exactly one year from today, we are hoping our adoption paperwork will be winging its way to China.
29 is the age when we can officially start the adoption process. I have been waiting for this day for a LONG time.
Now, there is nothing (except my own slackerness)holding us back from getting this party started.
I just might make a few agency calls this afternoon and buy myself a big filing system to celebrate.
