Friday Fours

Because I don’t have anything better to do I thought I might make some lists:

Four Steps I can actually make toward starting the adoption:

1. Send in the homestudy application & check.  It is sitting here waiting to go.  Just do it already.
2. Get our passport photos taken.
3. Go to the post office and turn in passport paperwork.
4. Sign up for the CPR class (required for homestudy)

Four good things about this weekend:

1. A and I are going out with another couple tonight with nary a kid in sight.  Alone! With grownups!

2.Tomorrow, we are taking a class on grief and loss in adoption.  Ok, that one sounds like a downer, but A agreed to go!  He is actually thinking a little about it!

3. A is taking M to visit my Mother In Law on sunday and I don’t have to go!  I. don’t. have. to. go. WhoooHoooo!

4. Sunday I was supposed to work but I got out of it.  I have the whole day to myself!  Alone in the house!

Four reasons my girl is the best little girl in the world:

1. This morning she didn’t wake me up by screaming in my face.       
2. She loves to eat lemons and limes.  When she eats them, her whole face skwinches up, but she keeps eating them anyway.
3. Last night, when she woke up at 4:30 am, she was dreaming about the trip she took yesterday to the bookstore with her daddy.  Half asleep, she kept saying "We went to the bookstore.  And we got a book!  Harold and the Purple Crayon.  When we wake up, we will read it!" Maybe you had to be there, but it was very cute.
4. There is a new little boy at her babysitters and when he is getting a diaper change she says "Z. has a penis! Look at it! Look! At! It!"  That’s my girl.

Really.  Could it get any more boring around here?  I am stuck at my desk all day and I have nothing to talk about.  Any suggestions?
