I dreamed about getting our referral for the HFC last night. It was surreal. I got the call and I was so excited. I was looking at the picture, but even in my dream the picture was hazy and I couldn’t see the baby’s face. The baby’s name was Gao An. I asked several times to be sure and that was definitely the name.
I suppose I should just admit it, I am totally superstitious. I thought I would make note of the dream here so I can remember it later. The words Gao An don’t mean anything to me right now, but who knows? Maybe one day they will.

I dreamt I was pregnant with twins. (Near the end I remembered that Brett had a vasectomy and I thought, “How did I manage to sleep with someone else and then forget it???”) Anyway — I hope my dream was about you and Paige getting your referrals soon.

When I was pg for the last time 7+ ish years ago, I was sure it was twins. I dreamt about them (even before I was pg), asked my doc if there was more than one at every ultrasound and heart beat check… but no, only one. Then my sister, who was due just before me, found out she was having twins and I got chills thinking that was the twin vibe I was feeling. Freaky, right? Then I had the big ultrasound at 20 wks and they found my twins who turn 7 in November.

I – who in theory despise superstition – woke up one day thinking “my baby was born today”. Then thought, well, this is pretty dumb, though from the dates I guessed it was around the correct time. I kept note of the date, just in case……
Got my referral about 10 months later and the date of birth and finding was the same as that day.
I often have dreams like that–with bits of information I couldn’t possibly know. Most of the time they pan out. Sometimes, not. Usually on the ‘nots’ I can figure out why. So, good for you for writing it down.
BTW, Gao’an is a Chinese city about 50 miles from Nanchang, and it has an orphanage. Just so you know.

Does Goa An mean anything? Like “little girl needing mom”? Hopefully not “she who has attachment disorder and will turn out first female sociopath”?

Dude…”Gao An” is a Chinese city and an orphanage in China. I just Google-ed it. You probably heard the name somewhere and it bubbled up to your consciousness. Look at the pictures and see if any ring a bell from your dream. There are a few named ‘Gao An”. I would pick one and just pretend that is the one you dreamed about.
