Thanks for all the feedback on the name thing.  Who knew you all had such strong feelings about names? 

I was just getting ready to sit down and write a very rare post about my own family (as in, not Mr. A’s family).  I was going to write about my frustration about the freaking midwestern emotional supression we continually reinact on each other.  About how the one time I decide to share my feelings with my mom and sister, they both fail to be sympathetic.  I am so disappointed in them.  And sad.  And angry.

Damn midwesterners!  Damn emotional distance!  Damn polite avoidance of anything REAL!

That was what I was GOING to write about.  Then I quickly logged on to the Expedited referral group.  Today there were TWO MORE REFERRALS!  

As if that wasn’t exciting enough,  THEY WERE FOR FEBRUARY LIDS!!

I am MARCH 15!!!!!

Oh my fucking GOD things are moving again and we are CLOSE.

Of course when I calm myself down, I can acknowledge that my agency only recieved January referrals this month.  I know of at least one February LID from my agency that will be expedited ahead of us.

But STILL!  There is MOVEMENT!

Once I calm down, I will reassure myself that we won’t get our referral next month and that late December will be a perfectly lovely time to get a referral.  It will! I won’t be disappointed if we don’t get the call next month. 

But God, for a few days, I am going to let this hope flutter in my chest.
