We got our call around 12:30 today. Mr. A had just brought us lunch, so we were all here together.
It is a girl! Her name means bright and clever. We can tell already she is bright and clever, so it seems appropriate.
There is some disagreement about the pinyin spelling of her name. My agency claims it is one thing, but we know this isn’t a real word in chinese. We also asked a friend from china who confirmed it.
She is an April fools baby, born 4/1/06.
On October 18th she weighed 15.62 lbs and was 25.3 inches long. I think this is about the 25th %tile on the US charts.
This is pretty much all the info we have so far. We should get more by fedex tomorrow.
When we showed her picture to M, we said “You have a little sister! What do you think about that?”
“Oh good, that is what I wanted.” she said. Then she wandered off to eat her lunch.
