When Mr. A has a big work project due, it generally means that my week is going to be difficult. This week was rough, topped of by a really awful day yesterday when the baby wouldn’t sleep, we had a dead mouse in a trap, Mr. A had a flat tire, it was really hot and humid and I had to deal with a disgusting bug infestation in my rice/beans cupboard.
Thank god that is over. I am looking forward to a better weekend.

Was it egyptian grain moths (and larvae)? Their eggs are pretty much bound to be in any bulk rice you buy- particularly organic – but to hatch out to the larval stage they need to be undisturbed-if you shake up your containers on a regular basis they can’t hatch…
geez…could anything more possibly happen in one day? That sounds awful!
Jason- are you saying that there are moths and larvae that we eat in our bulk rice, but we don’t realize it unless we don’t go around using our bulk rice containers as maracas? eeek!
