Facebook Pop Quiz
For the class of 2007, compared to the kids at the local high school, the photos of the girls from the Girls School are less likely to:
A) Be half naked
B) Be African American or Indian
C) Be groping some guy near his crotch
D) Be wearing a football uniform
E) Look drunk or some other kind of intoxicated
F) All of the above.
The answer to that question would be F. I am not sure quite what to make of that information.

Maybe not try to make too much of it? All of the above could have been true of my hs (though I only have a vague idea of what facebook is), but I hung with the kids who had a similar level of parental involvement etc. I didn’t even drink in hs-wasn’t opposed to it-went to parties where kids drank-just wasn’t my thing. Had a boyfriend who did drugs, but I was never interested-probably healthier to say no than never be exposed.
I was an emotional unhapppy teen who lost her father-statistically very vulnerable-but I still stuck pretty closely to the values I was raised with, and often (not always) that is what it comes down to.
Anyway, I thought you might be interested-we just became the largest urban area where minorities are the majority:

FWIW–my private school had its share of nakedness, drunkenness, and premarital sex, but we learned darn well not to make our school or our families look bad. (I just can’t stop commenting about this thing, sorry!)
