Tonight we have our 6 month post placement meeting with a social worker. Not THAT social worker. We hired a new local agency to do it.
It is hard to believe it has been 5.5 months since we first met L.
I am thankful to say, I think we made it over the hump. While two kids is hard and L’s initial adjustment was rough, life is pretty manageable now.
Knock on Wood.
Congratulations on almost 6 months with L! Yes, it may have been bumpy but you are successfully raising two happy, well-adjusted, not to mention gorgeous(!) little girls! Good job…you rock!
6 months, it is amazing how fast it goes. We are about a month behind you. Thanks for the reminder to contact our SW soon.

We just had our 12 month yesterday.
I told our wonderful agency that I will still be coming up there, sending pics, etc.
Next Sat. will be our first bday with Brooklyn. Hard to believe….
It’s reassuring to hear you say that while I’m still in the trenches here. I also appreciate your honesty about how hard it is. Just knowing it’s common and normal to feel slammed with two little ones helps.
