M loves to have her picture taken.
The last time we went for professional pictures, L was being a huge pain in the butt, so my mom was wrangling M in the studio while we waited outside. I knew that M would charm the photographers with her big smile. It wasn’t until they decided to wheel in the wind machine that I started to wonder if M was enjoying herself a little too much. The girl is a total ham.
The fall photo. We didn’t buy the one with the wind machine effect. (Shocking, I know.)
The trip to San Francisco also seemed to bring out M’s hammy side.
Fortunately, M is probably going to be short, so she won’t have much of a future on America’s Next Top Model. Even if she can “smile with her eyes”.
(Yes, I realize this post is a total cop out. Damn that NaBloPoMo. The children were hellions today and I can’t string together a coherent thought. I reserve the right to slack from time to time. You can fully expect at least one more post this month with photos of L too.)
The girls are lovely.
Don’t feel bad, my post today was totally about nothing, with lots of breast references. More doesn’t mean better for me sometimes.
Too cute..lucky Mama that she participates so well. My daughter is so tired of the Mamarazzi chasing her around, I have to beg for smiles now!
I don’t tink anyone’s going to complain about seeing your cute kids! She looks loke a funny, sweet girl.
She *does* smile with her eyes! What great pictures. Though I’m really wondering what the wind-machine pictures looked like…
Oh my gosh-so cuuute-and she has grown so much (and you are in so much trouble in 10 years!)-thanks for the photos! ~lmc
There are wind machines for kids’ photos?????? Oi.
The ones you have posted are sweet and the kids are lovely.
Isn’t there a rule about a picture being worth 1000 words. I think you’re totally covered.
Pink
M is so very cute. I am sorry you didn’t buy the ones with the wind machine effect though.
OMG a wind machine?
We just took Boo for one-year pictures and I didn’t even bring Mimi because trying to get them together is impossible. Now that I have a good camera, I might just try to do it myself, if I can figure out the settings.
A WIND MACHINE? Dude, that is hardcore. Where do you go, anyway? Private photographer or semi-private franchised place? We’re going to give Portrait Innovations a try this year, because damn the cost, I’ve had two bad experiences with JCPenney in a row and I am DONE.
I plan on photoblogging extensively by the end of the month. There are too many school vacation days, for one thing!
She is absolutely adorable!!
I get the “NO MORE PICTURES!” from my son so I might be glad if he were a wee bit cheesier.
Hey, MIL stories, kids pictures, it’s all good!
I love that face that M makes in the 3rd pic. Amd OMG she has the cuest dimples!
Cutest, ya know.
Woah, in that picture with Mr. A she is looking just like him! L looks totally unamused and possibly embarrassed in a teenager-y way. They grow up so fast
.
Wow, I can’t believe how much M has grown up since I last saw her! Great photos, all of them. Damn, girl, you’ve got a good looking family.
As for me, I never have my kids’ photos taken because I suck that way. The last professional portraits we got were when the boys were 18 months and four. Heh.
Ha ha I laughed when I read your thoughts about ANTM…
She would make a great little model! They are both so adorable!
