Hmph.
I sent a package to L’s orphanage with photos and asking what donations would be most needed. We never received a response.
I decided to try to email the director to ask the same question and to see if they had received the package. I just got a response from him, but it seems he has left the orphanage. The online translation made a mess of his email message, so I am not exactly sure what he was trying to say.
I am very disappointed because the care the children received under this director seemed to be very, very good. I am also concerned because now I don’t have an email address for the orphanage. I guess I may have to ask a friend to give them a call and see if we can get some additional contact information.
It just goes to show that I need to move faster collecting information. Things are changing there very quickly. VERY quickly.

Is there a Yahoo group for L’s orphanage? The people who run the group for LSP’s orphanage make me insane but it helps me stay abreast of what’s going on there. Does Half the Sky or Love Without Boundaries have a program there? That’s another way to find out what’s going on. I’m interested to see if we get a response to our letter asking for more info.
