Obsessed

I swear, my mother has been possessed by the forces of the Disney marketing machine.

Is this really necessary? Seriously.  It turns the milk PINK

And she doesn’t even seen the irony in the fact that she refused to allow my sister and me to eat any cereal that listed sugar (or sweeteners) in the first two ingredients when we were growing up.

I’m only a little embarrassed to admit that the existence of such a product makes me cry for mankind.

oh crap! I cna’t even get away with the ” not kosher” line on the girls, because I can see the OU symbol from here…. I should have never taught them to look for it!!!!!

Seriously, I would NEVER buy those. I’m fine with the movies, I don’t mind the princess Barbies, because it’s better than Bratz, but cereal? no way!

Damn, Figlet beat me to it. I’m laughing over the ‘whole grain’ and ‘lightly sweetened’ aspects. Just the name cracks me up.

Of course, it’s not in my house.

Here’s my question: why the hell are Sleeping Beauty and Snow White hanging out? Is this some sort of weekday “koffee klatch” where they get together and bitch about their so-called Prince Charmings?

Before I even saw the words below the picture I was thinking, “I bet that turns the milk pink.”

Gag.

We have something similar here in the UK and we tried it at a friend’s. house one weekend It was disgusting…and my 6 year old (who loves disney sadly) refused to have more than one bite. When she sees it in the store she goes yuck yuck..in a very loud voice. Hope the girls hated it!

Hey, this might just get Luna eating cereal for breakfast instead of Ritz crackers and dried fruit

whoa. very scary prospect, as I now have a little girl, too! my question about ‘the irony’ is:

The “not being allowed to eat any cereal that listed sugar (or sweeteners) in the first two ingredients” resulted in the ’sweetest’ offspring (including all of the ‘bitchy’ NO responses to Mr. A and a slightly bitter tone of expression in the Mom religion posts) vs. the character and personalities of M and L who ARE enticed to eat this princess cereal?
