Happy Chinese New year to you and your family! I loved reading all about it and all the pictures too! I love posts that have visuals, ha ha ha. : )

I was really interested to read that the monetary gift your MIL gave, I think you called it the, hongbao. We have the same thing here in Japan for Japanese New years except it's called, otoshidama! I think that's so cool learning about new stuff and even similarities even though with different names! : )

And I would like the claw hands myself too. My son takes swimming and when he swims normal and on his tummy, instead of laying flat and kicking his feet and moving his hands perfectly. He always seems to swim in a weird funky ball shape almost. It's almost impossible he can actually float and swim like that. It makes me laugh. Makes the coaches upset though Ha ha ha! : ) I figure he could be just inventing a new swimming style? LOL. Clearly the coaches are not amused. It amuses the heck out of me though! So I can totally agree with ya on the claw hands thing. : )

My favorite pic of M that you shared is the last pic, of her performing her dance! And I loved the dress that L, wore with her birthday hat! : )
