But seriously, the Italian dressing on the salad? It's authentic, or at least you'll encounter it at a lot of Ethiopian restaurants, at least the ones that serve salad. The Italians occupied Ethiopia for a quite a while. No excuses for the injera, though, except it is sometimes made with barley. I like the way you evaluate neighborhoods! I'm sure it made your short list. I love it here. We see mixed couples all the time (there is a major uni nearby, which helps) and Asians owning businesses that aren't just dry cleaners or restaurants.
