Way back in April, I wrote an post mentioning our family pictures. I finally got off my ass scheduled an appointment to see the results about a month ago.
Let me say for the record, these picture are worth every minute of the stress of trying to figure out what we would wear and trying to wrangle two very hyper girls while keeping them from messing up their hair.
When the first photo popped up on the viewing screen, I almost started to cry. There were my girls, looking just like themselves. They weren’t formal or in weird poses. It was just the two of them… exactly how they are.
These are just a few of my favorite pictures. I had a terrible time trying to decide which ones we should have printed because I loved them all so much.
(edited because I just added another post with my favorite picture)
Right now when I look at these pictures, I just think about these girls and how beautiful and amazing they are and how they are growing up so fast. *sniff*
A big thanks to Keels Photography for making the picture-taking so painless and providing the digital proofs for me to share. If you are local, I heartily recommend them.

What absolutely beautiful pictures! I love the black and whites.
They are absolutely gorgeous girls.
I love them! Your favourite is just gorgeous!
love, love, love. and you’re right, it looks just like them.
They are so cute it brings tears to my eyes!! My favourite is your favourite as well!! I am taking Lexi to a professional ASAP!
Your girls are absolutely beautiful. These are phenomenal pictures!
Your daughters are beautiful! I’m choked up and they aren’t even my kids.
Wow.
Those are gorgeous! They’re everything that a picture should be. And your favorite is just great – I love how L’s foot kicking up in back captures that little-kid-run!
I love, love, love the picture of the girls walking on the path! What great pictures.
Oddly enough, I was just thinking this weekend “hey, what ever happened with AmFam’s family photoshoot?” Really! I know, too much free time… These are just stunning. Any you plan to share of the entire AmFam family?
Where are you and A? Did they have to photoshop A’s neck out of the picture?

They are beautiful. Mallory is coming to Columbus for senior portraits. Can she stay with you?
The photos are beautiful, and so are your girls.
This has cemented my vague idea that we need to shell out to get something like this done. If I could get someone to really document my kids at this fleeting age, I’d pay a LOT.
Thanks for showing us. They are so beautiful, so perfect. What a family!
These pictures are beautiful, so are your girls. I think the photographer has done a tremendous job by keeping them so quiet and natural. Thanks for sharing the information.

Wow, those are amazing. What beautiful girls.
Seriously gorgeous!!
Oh, they are lovely!
These are so great! M looks so serene, you can see the big girl in those eyes, and L’s smile…! I love the one of L with her hair flying up in the wind and being highlighted by the sun! And that last one of them both is just perfect. Wow, these are possibly the best studio photos I’ve ever seen! Probably that’s mostly the subjects.
AMAZING. So jealous. I need to get me some kids so we cna take cute pictures.
That 2nd to last one of L is breathtaking! I actually said “WOW” aloud. Tootie had to run in from the other room to see.
Oh, MAN. They are so GORGEOUS.
So, so sweet. Love it. I was inspired by your blog re: photos before your oldest lost her baby teeth, so we went out and took some family pics, too. A week later, my 5-year old lost her first tooth!
I think I know that photog- is his name Chris? i went to school with him! he is lovely! Great pics! Wonderful!
WOW, these area absolutely GORGEOUS!! Thank you so much for sharing. Did you wear that skirt you had bought? How did the pictures of the whole family come out?
