Lost in the fog

I know, I have been a terrible blogger.  I spent the last week shopping for minivans and reading the last two Twilight books.  Both issues are now resolved:  Used, gold Sienna now in my driveway which cost slightly more than we intended to pay but should last a few years longer and (TWILIGHT SPOILER ALERT)  I know know what happens if a person and a vampire have a love child.

Now I can move forward with my life.

While my attention has been elsewhere, life has marched relentlessly forward.  Spring is coming, thank Jeeves, and it is lighter in the evenings even if it is colder than a witch’s tit out there.  (Witches’ tit? Help me, oh grammar mavens!)  And I have more energy.  Note to self:  next year you may want to up the Magic Light a little during the darkest months because in retrospect, you were quite tired and lethargic.

Now that my energy is back and my attention is not diverted, there are some topics I really wanted to post about.  They each deserve their own post, so I am going to wrap this one up and start a new one forthwith.

Witch’s tit if you are only referring to one witch and her tit.

Witchs’ tit if you are referring to the collective tit of a group of witches.

    LOL

I never post but thought I’d take the opportunity to have fun with grammar and to tell you how much I enjoy your blog.

My husband and I adopted a little boy from foster care, and reading the blogs of others certainly helps me to feel not alone. Often, it makes me feel like I’m on the right track.

Please excuse any spelling/grammatical/typographical errors in this. I’m having some stomach problems now and am on massive does of Phenergran.

    Anyway, I love your blog.

    • You are welcome to correct my grammar any time! You needn’t fear I will criticize your errors either. Goodness knows, I am not one who should ever throw stones on that issue!!

      Thanks for commenting!

    Forthwith! I love that word!

I, too, lost a large chunk of the darkest part of the year to the Twilight books. Which isn’t such a bad thing.

Wait, Edward and Bella have sex? I’m shocked! I want to read those books to be culturally literate, but I’m afraid I will get too annoyed by the writing. But I’m going to try.

    witch’s tit if one witch
witches’ tit if more than one witch, but then it would have to be witches’s tits

So does that mean you will be attending the mindnight showing of new moon with me and Cmama? :)

  • congrats on the minivan, we’ll have to replace ours in a few years (1997 Odyssey, acquired back in 2004, still working good 200K miles and counting). Anyway, your excuses for being away are completely justifiable (even if I haven’t read the Twilight books ;-) .

Will you post your opinions of Twilight? I read them but they drove me cracked. Am still working out why….
